How to reduce condensation? The more heat efficient and better insulated our windows become, condensation can be an issue. Condensation happens when warm, moist air meets surfaces that are cooler than its dew point temperature. Modern windows work so well at keeping the heat in that this can sometimes be an issue!

The solution to the problem is heating (to keep surfaces above dew point temperature) and ventilation (to expel the warm, moist air outside). We suggest keeping the heating level even throughout the house (so you don’t get pockets of heavy condensation in the cooler rooms) and to increase ventilation in your home. You can also have trickle vents fitted to the tops of all the window frames to help with the latter.
